Tier 1 General Visa, doing business in UK

Hi,

I am Tier 1 general Highly skilled visa, I want to do business in uk instead of job. What are requirements in term of earnings; do i have to show profit, how much? to get 30 points for extension.
Please help. Thanks

Read the guidence notes of tier 1 g, at UKBA web site and prepare accordingly,
