immigration file

hi everyone,

I read some where on this forum that one can request one's immigration file(history) which will show the dates the applications were made so on and so forrth.Has anyone done it?If so, please advise.

It cost £10 to get it.

It might take up to 3 months before they send it to you. i think it is covered by FIA(freedom of information act).

1. Its called SUBJECT ACCESS REQUEST and the fee is £10.

It doesnt make sense that you read something that tells you can get this info but doesn't tell how to get it. Impossible.
However there is google.

1. Put u NI Number, HO ref Number and etc.
2. Passport Photocopy and visa page
3. Just say that please disclose all my information kept on HO database.
