tier2 to tier1 -employer query

hi,

do we need to inform our employer if we are switiching from tier2 to tier1.

how do we inform our employer once our tier1 is approved?

1. Ideally you should. Not sure if there is a legal requirement to do so.
2. Write a letter to HR informing change in status and include a copy of the vignette.

Better chance of getting responses to all your (related) queries if you post them in one thread itself. Easier for others to figure out what all you need help on ... and easier for you as well - as you'd need to look at one discussion for all answers / advice. Just a suggestion .. don't be offended!

And, read the guidance notes carefully.
