Should maintenance funds be different from visa fee?

I have the required maintenance funds in my account. Is it possible that I pay my visa fee using the same account? Or should the maintenance funds be held separately?

Another question is about UK experience. I worked in UK for an internship (on company sponsored visa) for 3 months. I am not claiming points for earnings made in UK as it was before 15 months. But can I claim points for UK experience? If yes, what documents do I need to present for this?
