HSMP to Tier1 Extension - Maintenance Fund Proof Requirement

My 2year HSMP is coming to an end quite soon and am planning to apply under Tier 1.

Kindly request the experts to confirm if just the 'Personal bank or building society statements covering the three-month period immediately before the application' alone would suffice as proof or do i need a letter from the Bank as well.

My Bank is HSBC ; will they issue such a letter if required.

If you have ORIGINAL bankstatements from HSBC they are more than enough ..
