I'm in Jamaica and used DHL to send documents to my husband in London who sent them right back. They quoted three days each way and did it in two (each way).

Once I needed to send some documents back home super urgently and I did it an unconventional way.

I checked what time a flight was leaving to my city back home (daily flights). I went to the airport and requested couple of people if they could take my docs with them. Some hesitated even after looking at the docs. Finally a lady agreed to take them with her.

My brother collected the docs from her at the airport after 8 hours!

Not recommending this approach but just in case. :)

Sending docs by person is fine but most people I think would refuse to courier items from stangers given the latest media stories about drug trafficking and handling personal items.

I certainly wouldn't consider handing important documents over to someone I didn't know!

Yes I used this method once and next day my documents were at my home.

Very fast method although risky..
