Partner Points - Marriage Certificate

Post by Ashwin2005 » Sun Aug 21, 2005 6:36 pm

My marriage certificate is issued by Sub Registrar of a Marriage Registrar Office. Marriages are registered in this office and an an entry is made into this register at the time of registration. When we ask for the marriage certificate, they issue a certificate "True Extract of the Register.." signed by the Registrar.

This is looking like an ugly certificate with lot of entries hand written, signed by the Registrar with stamp. This is how they issue the certificate. Will this be ok?

This should be okay as long as the certificate is in English.

Goahead.

All the best.

..... or if not in English, if translated into English, with the original and the English translation both being supplied.
