ILR application date calculation

Post by vinseh » Tue Jan 26, 2010 1:02 pm

Hi friends,

It might sound silly but I am really confused about when to apply my ILR. I have calculated on time&date.com and tried counting on a calender but I am still not able to ascertain when to book my PEO appointment.

I am on 5 year WP and my FLR was granted on 14th April 2005. I know I can apply 28 days in advance but I am confused if I should apply on 17th/18th or 19th March.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Many thanks,
Vin

it's not coutned from the date on your FLR but the date of your 1st entry to the UK on your original WP

correction: the date of your PEO appointment should be the 29th day.

Hi thanks,

I know it's counted from the date of entry in the UK but I mentioned 'FLR' which means I got my further leave to remain on that day...I mean I was in the country, I thought it was understood.

Your ILR application must not reach UKBA before 18 March 2010.

haha it actually was understood...but there are a few things you cannot be satisfied about unless you hear the exact words that you have been expecting...i.e. when it comes to ILR :)

Much appreciated mate :) thanks :D
