Is there a limit?

Post by ahibas » Sat Jan 30, 2010 7:59 pm

Hi, I'm from the UK and my fiancee is in India. We are planning to get married in April in India. We first met when I visited in 2008 and we got engaged 6 months ago.

Although I have the forms and proof of contact etc., ours is pretty much a long distance relationship. Because of work I'll only be able to stay there for four weeks. I have heard that recently people are being denied visas if they do not spend enough time with their partners after marriage in India. Is that a possibility or just rumour mongering?

Thanks!

Definetly the latter. If you only have a certain amount of leave from work, then that takes priority over spending time with loved ones ( even though you may have just got married) :P
