Spouse obtained EU family permit, next step???

Hello everyone....

I'm a EU national (Born in Portugal)living and working in UK since April, my wive (Non EU national) came over after recieving EU family permit stamp on passport to join me, in July. The permit is only valid for 6 months (expires January 2006)

What steps, forms, documents must I/she fill so that she can stay with me indefinetly and when should I make the application.
