Endorsement of online banking printouts

Post by wunder » Sun Jan 31, 2010 5:38 pm

Do high street banks (in my case Barclays) normally endorse online banking printouts or do I need to order statements from them? (because I did, and it is pretty much the same thing as my own printout, without signatures and not stamped, etc)

HSBC doesn't do that

they only print out your statment which says "Temporary Statement" and that's it. HO should live in real world :)

i'll ask them for supporting letter for HO but not sure they'll do that either

Natwest printed out 3 months of statements for me in branch, and signed and stamped each one. They also wrote me a covering letter. Very helpful they were.

we've asked for the print out for Schengen visa a week ago, will have to try and explain it to them again, maybe it'll work...
