Can my dependent apply for work permit????

hi guyz,

I've got my PSW frm CCL which is endin in sep. this year. my wife's employer is ready to sponsor her for wrk permit, her co. is on HO co. register and grade A.

my Q. is can she apply or not frm here?

If your wife is in UK as a dependent then she will not be able to switch to Tier 2 (General). She will have to apply for EC from home country.

and u should be careful of that CCL PSW.. people have started to be deported who are on a PSW from that college..

1. I agree with both answers as dependents can not switch visas within UK they have to leave the UK and apply from Home country.
2. PSW from CCL, u got to be careful as well.
