Tier 1 General

Post by ksegal » Sat Feb 06, 2010 12:09 am

Hello

Can someone please advise on the following?

When is the earliest one can apply for a tier-1 extension? Can an application to extend an existing tier 1 general be made 4 - 6 months in advance of expiration date?

Thanks
KS

There are members in this forum who have applied 2-3 months earlier and were successful. Not sure if one can apply 6 months in advance.

Yes you can..... search the forum and you will come across cases where people applied much in advance.

Hi

yes you can apply for extension 4-6 months in advance.
There stands a chance that you might loose remaining months on your existing visa. But at times they do issue visa from the previous visa expiry date.

As per guidance u can apply 28days before ur visa expiry but i have seen
aspirants applying 3 months before the expiry date.

not sure of 6months , email HO if you have any valid reason they will respond . If the answer is yes from them include that email in ur cover letter .

All the best.
