Plz Need Help with Work Permit- Additional work

Hi All,
I would really be thankful to anyone who can help me with my query
i would like to switch from WP to Tier1 and as per the rules of work permit i cant work for anyone else but can do part time work in the same profession.
and can work for a limited company or sole propreitor.
can anyone tell me what sort of documents i need from that extra employment i can show as earnings? coz i did some free lance work and got paid but that was cash.
please anyone know anything about this do let me know

1. If u were paid by cash then did u hav wage slips?
2. Wat about TAX and NIC was it deducted from u wages?
3. If u were paid cash (not on the books) so no TAX and NIC was deducted so u shud not use that extra money for the visa as it was illegal.
