URGENT Help needed - do I qualify,advice needed please....

Hello All,

Please can somebody assistance me, I applied for my indefinite leave to remain in August of 2008 under section 10 of the EEA of 2006 regulations. My case is still on-going and its looks like it will be rejected as I cannot prove my ex wife was exercising treaty rights at the time of our divorce and she will not assist me whats so ever, even though every other box has been ticked.

This brings me to my question, Can I qualify for Tier 1?

I have been living in the uk for a little over 8 years now, Myself(South African) and my british business partner have been running an electrical contracting firm since March 2006, we regularly supply work for other british citizens.

I have a business bacholers degree from my normal country of residence, I am in my 3rd year of my electrical installation course and will be a newly qualified electrician in June of this year.

English is my first language.

Our annual turnover is over £100 000.00

We have a registered limited company here in the UK, Redcon Ltd.

Company tax and personal tax is paid on time and I pay NI on a regular basis.

I have been in UK legally for 8 years and have been self sufficient.

Can I qualify for Tier one, what is the waiting time on the application?
Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

One of the requirements to qualify for Tier 1 (General) is a masters degree.
