From IGS to PSW long way..Fresh application &work rights

Dear Moderators/Members,

I am here on the forum after a long time and would like to ask that my case is stuck behind the leadcase in the high court which has challenged maintainance ground under psw for people who made an application under IGS claiming one more yr in PSW.

In short waiting for highcourt decesion.

In the meanwhile i am planing to make fresh application.I want to know that my first application under IGS was in time application.what will happen in terms of fresh application,as it will be made offocurse my visa has expired and i am waiting pending appeal as above mentioned.

My question is what impact it would have on my work..Can i work or no until i get fresh application outcome.
