Income support and Citizenship?

Post by aqkhan68 » Mon Feb 22, 2010 10:48 am

I am on income support and applied for citizenship because of panic that law was changing on 13th jan,2010 does it effects my application.
I have ILR for last 3 years and its falls under spouse category.
How long nataurilsation application takes approx ?

Thanks a lot for any help.

No, income support won't affect your application.

The wife just applied for her nationality too, we did it through the Nationality Checking service at our local council. According to the lady there, average is six months, although it can be done as early as two months and as late as a year.
