Dependent Pass application. How to start?

Post by gsem980 » Wed Feb 24, 2010 3:02 am

I visited the UK-visa website for my country but didn't find any application form. Instead, I fond the online application: http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/applyonline/.

I am not sure this is where I should apply for my tier 1 dependent pass?

My wife is now working in UK. I plan to apply the dependent pass so eventually I can also work in UK. In the online application, I was asked what the reason is for my application. Should I just say "Visit" or "employment"?

Please advice me.
Thank you

VFS Japan is the authorized visa application center in Japan. And yes, applications are to be submitted online by applicants in Japan.

You will be applying for Entry Clearance (EC) / visa as a PBS Dependent. Before you get down to submitting the application form online, I would suggest that you read PBS dependents - policy guidance (of not done so already).

gsem..

i think it would be good for you to ask the queries in Tier2 section your spouse being on WP.. though the application form form both is same.. but it would be good for ppl responding not to misunderstand ur main applicant being on Tier1...
