Documentary evidence for earnings as a contractor

Hello,

I would really appreciate if anyone can shed more light on the documentary evidence required for earnings for contract work. I will be applying soon and will be using earnings i made working as a contractor.

I got this from the UK visas site, (i'm applying from outside the uk).

an accountant’s letter confirming a breakdown of your gross and net earnings for the period claimed and
personal bank statements highlighting all credit payments made to your account from employment undertaken during the earnings period claimed

Is this all that is really required?

Please kindly comment if you have any experience.

Just wanted to ask again. Please can someone help me outline what other supporting documents to include when applying from outside the UK and claiming earnings for work done as a contractor. Right now, I have

- invoices from the company
- bank statements matching the invoice amounts

? what other supporting documents do I need apart from the Accountants letter?

So after doing an extensive search on previous threads, I got some of my questions answered.

I still have one more question unanswered.


For independent contractors, which of the Gross or Net income counts towards the Earning requirement?

Document list:
1. Company Bank Statement.
2. Compant P$L statement.
3. Dividend Voucher(of mention in accountant letter). This should be corroborate your company bank statement.

4. Personal Payslips.
5. Personal Bank statement corroborating payslips.
