bank statement. original or photocopied?

my wife is working in UK as a tier 1 holder. I am going to apply the dependent pass.

i notice that i will need the bank statement from my wife to show that she has enough fund/income to 'support' me.

i would like to know if this bank statement can be a photocopy? i don't think it is easy to get the original one mail from UK to me here.

please advice.

Photocopies are not acceptable as proof. You can have it couriered from your wife to your's in advance so that you could include it in the list of documents to be submitted.

Please submit Original docs.. and if you have time on ur side.. ask ur main applicant to send them to you by Royal Mail (sign required) service which can be cheap and will reach you in 5-7days...
