PSW, 30 Points and Tier 2 Sponsor License,

Post by Jonate » Tue Mar 16, 2010 4:58 pm

If I am switching from Post Study Work to Tier 2 (General) and scored more than 50 points, do I still need my company to sponsor me or be on the sponsor list?

I Used the Point calculator and selected "NO" to Question "Do you have a certificate of sponsorship from your sponsor?"

At the end, I received the following result.

"You appear to have enough points to apply for permission to stay in the United Kingdom (known as 'leave to remain') under the skilled worker category of tier 2."

Is the Calculator only checking the points, If I genuinely scored more 50 can I apply without sponsor license?
