10 year ILR - How to count the days out of the UK?

Post by ESPES » Tue Mar 16, 2010 8:38 pm

For example, I left the UK on Monday and came back on Sunday. Am I out of country for 5 days, 6 days or 7 days. Cheers!

if you leave the uk on a monday and are back in the country the following sunday you are out for 5 days as you are technically and physically present in the country at some point during the day you depart and arrive.

go to http://www.entryclearanceservices.com/i ... eLeave.php

5 year rule:

•list all your absences – travelling days must be included but will count as zero day out (ie travelling to Berlin on Monday, returning on Tuesday will be zero day);
