Gap in last and current Leave to remain of 10 days-Disclose?

Post by Vrajdham » Mon Mar 22, 2010 10:55 pm

Hi,
My Previous Leave to Remain expired on 14th March 2009.

I sent Tier 2 visa application on 6th March 2009 and was approved by them on 9th March 2009 (before expiry) but on Passport , current leave to remain it shows date of Issue as 24th March 2009.

Is this considered as Over stay?

Should I Disclose it? If yes,
- Will it have any computation effect on previous earning and UK Experience as I was working in that period?

Please reply at the earliest. Much Appreciate.

no it's not an over stay since your passport was with home office and they were considering your application. btw how do you know that it was approved on 9th of march?
Goodluck.

you are covered for that many days via para 3 c. dont worry about it.

If you feel like it, mention it in your covering letter to further explain it but you are safe.

usually date of stamp is mentioned on the visa itself.

but im kinda confused as he is saying that it was approved on 9th march but stamped as issued on 24th.

i guess we will wait until he makes it clearer:)

All these dates were on my organisation's webpage in my a/c.

So I even asked them to confirm dates are in relation to submit/acknowledgement from HO.
