maintanence funds 5 days short

hi all,

one of my friend want to apply for tier1 general. he has completed all the requirments for that, but his 3 month of maintanence will be completed on the 5th of april. he want to apply under the current rules, because after 5th april he would not be eligible for tier 1 general.

i have 2 question
1) can he post his application on the 30th march with ending bank balance of 30th march which offcourse will be 6 days short.
seconly can he send another full 3 months statment after on 5th april with a covering letter explaining the situation.

No!

This is a risk that HO or the CW many not consider the extra piece of evidance sent later!
