Marriage Certificate Regristration Date

Hello Gurus,

I am due to apply for my wife visa whos in India. In supporting document I have my marriage certificate which has regirstation date of febuary when I was in UK and marriage date was actual marriage date which was on January when I was in India.

Could any one suggest me that will this be OK or Do i need to be india when marriage registration date ?

No, you are fine as long as you have marriage certificate..

if you want you can attach invitation card n photos with the application

I think I havent explain the question clearly. In my marriage certificate registration date is on febuary and stating that my marriage has done on 16-January-09. and I left for UK on 18th-Jan. Do I need to be in India for registration date which is mention on certificate which is on feb?

Without your presence, how can the registerar provide a Marriage certificate?
