PSW dependants maintenance fund

Hi,
Could anyone tell me how much exactly needed to show in your bank a/c for your dependant, when you apply to switch from student visa to PSW visa? Is it 1600+800 or 533+800? Someone told me, the amount is actually 1600 because the 533 applies only when you are already in the UK as a Tier1 migrant for 12 months or more. this means your stay as a student doesn't count for that 12 months mentioned in the Policy guidance. Hope anyone could give some response or share your exprience. Thanks.
