ILR AND PASSPORT LOST ....HELP PLEASE

Hi ,

I had my ILR and i am currently in UK and i misplaced my passport in a bus today .....

how to proceed .... can i get a new passport ..if so what will happen to my ilr stamp ...i am just going mad ..please help

1. Get a police report of the lost passport.
2. Inform your embassy and get a new passport from them.
3. Inform UKBA and ask how to get a new ILR stamp.

Take it easy, yours is not the first lost passport and these can be replaced. But do the above ASAP, especially informing your embassy and UKBA, because they need to record the lost identity documents.

4. A few months down the line, get a credit report just to make sure no one has stolen your identity.
