Tier1 ---->Business Visa

Hi All,

I have valid Tier1 visa to UK and I am working in India for an MNC as a Projectlead.

As per the project requirement I have to travel to UK.

But my employer(HR people)is not accepting me to travel on my Tier1 visa.They are saying they will process Business visa first then will convert to Tier2 visa.(Which I am not interested).

My question is for Initial period if I even accept for Business visa ,is there any impact on my tier1 visa?

Since I am having tier1 visa,UK Home office will do my Business visa stamping without canceling my tier1 visa.

Any idea on this.

If there is no impact on my Tier1 visa,then I'll say OK to my employer for process the Business visa.

Please suggest.

but still i will advice to b carefull as i have seen a post in this forum wherein a person lost his Tier1 as soon as he gt a transit visa

ECB10.5 Applying for another visa but in a different category
An applicant may hold more than one valid entry clearance, for example a regular traveller already holding a longer period multiple visit visa can be issued with a visa for another purpose. When issuing a second visa, the applicant should be advised to explain to the Immigration Officer on arrival in which capacity he/she is seeking entry to the UK.
