Marriage Certificate - Mandatory?

Marriage Certificate - Mandatory?

I'm currently planning to apply only T1 G only for myself. On success, i plan to apply for my wife and kid. I have a slight discrepency in name in my marriage certificate. Now my question is, is it mandatory to send marriage certificate (even if I'm applying only for me now) if you are married?.

If not, I plan to prepare a notary public affidavit later on when i apply for my dependants.. Please clarify. Thanks.

You don't need to send marriage certificate now...

AS per Maintenance
IF i want to apply alone,and apply for my wife and kid later,how much should i have in my maintenance fund £2800? or £2800+1600+1600?
