Past Earnings

Hi all,

I've a query regarding previous earnings.
Can i choose any 12 months from my last 15 months ?

My query is that I'm working in Singapore since October-2009 and prior to that i was working in India, and i,m planning to apply for HSMP on May 15 , 2010.

I've calculated my earnings from March-2009 to Feb-2010 and I'm eligible.

But if i calculate from April-2010 to May-2010 ... I'm not qualifying, due to multiplier factor.

As per UK Border Agency "all earnings must have been made within 12 consecutive months within this 15 month period" , but i want to clear my doubt, so that i don't waste my money..

Please suggest ...

you need to show 12 consecutive months from last 15 months unfortunately you cannot pick and choose.

it might be in your best interest to start backwards when counting 12 consecutive month period. Make sure whatever period you choose, the earliest date (e.g. march 2009) is not more than 15 months old from the date of your application.

Just to be extra careful, make sure you convert these months into days as its very likely that HO will be using software to find out if earliest date was within 15 month period. make sure you dont go even 1 day beyond 15 month limit as it will be flagged up by software.
