I wish you have seen this forum before you sent your application. There were a few members who had the same problem with ICICI UK.

Check if the postal orders have been cashed.

keep postal order receipts handy for voucher id and call them on this number to see if they have been cashed

acknowledgement is sent regardless of Payment, sorry to say this.

I personally have to go through this shit for 2 weeks and HO returned my docs saying payment invalid and asked to make a fresh application!!.
God.. was running behind banks for latest bank statements and they were not willing to stamp online statements. Luckily one brach has done the job for me and I re-submitted before the new rules applied.

initail application March 12th
Payment stopped by bank March 15th
Ack letter recieved March 18th
Docs sent back March 23


Re applied March 24th
Ack letter recieved March 30th
Visa stamped April 9th (Very Quick!!)
Docs recieved April 14th

I should say I was lucky

Hope HO accepts your PO's as processing differes from case to case, al the best
