Wait until this is confirmed but I think the minimum amount a couple can live on according to Immigration rules is 105.00£ per week.
Good luck and wish me good luck too!

Just to clarify this £105 per week. Is it after rent+bills (including food)?

Yes that's after deducting tax, bills etc ( I understand a 105£ to "live" on) which may include Food and other stuff.
Good luck

It is after housing costs. So the calculation is .... income being received ... less rent/mortgage ... also less Council Tax ..... leaves £....... per week?

If at least £105 per week, that should be OK. The source of this. Somewhere buried in the guidance that UKBA gives to its staff is guidance that the couple need income at least at the Income Support level. And of course such benefits do go up a bit from time to time, but the principle is settled.

Edit : Just looked up the Income Support figure for a couple and it is £102.75 per week actually.

Casa, yes that would be right. Such benefits tend to go up early April each year.
