Travelling to UK

Dear All

With most of your guidance through this forum, I have recevied my Tier 1 General Visa and I am planning to move to UK this May.

Request you to kindly any provide me any suggestions to keep in mind before travelling to UK (apart from having a job offer in hand). I wish to move there and then search for employment.

I did not receive any approval letter apart from the visa.. Will we receive any?

Great that you have got your visa.

Look for a job and get employment before you reach UK.

There have been cases where the immigration counter will check details of the type of employment you plan to seek or have.

getting a visa is no big deal, but it seems job market isn't as promising these days.

Getting employment before reaching UK is very difficult if not impossible. One of the main advantages of Tier 1 is that you do not have to have a job to come to UK. All the best!!!
