TIER1 Extension rules rules Post 6th Apr rules

I am planning to apply Tier1 as per the new rules in Apr 2010 and stay in UK for next 4-5 yrs..

Since there are fears that rules for Tier1 might change in recent future, can I request you to help us with the following scenario .

I get Tier1 stamped in Apr 2010 for next 2 years
As anticipated the uplift ratio changes to 3.2 from 5.4
After 2 yrs, suppose my UK salary < 50K which means I will not have enough points to be eligible for Tier1 Extension as per new amended rules in 2012.


Will I be eligible for extension of his Tier1 visa(in 2012) as per the current rules (2010 rules)or not??


In that case,is there a way I will be able to Extend my Tier1 or not?

Can anyone please clarify this...thanks a lot in advance

Changes in the uplift ratio are irrelevant as it is not applied to UK earnings.
