TB Check

Post by prasad123 » Tue Apr 20, 2010 11:59 am

I got my Tier-1 approved.
When I enter for the first time, I read there will be a TB check and it can be avoided had we done it prior to the travel and have the results/proof with us.

1. Can someone tell me what exactly is the test that I have to do?
2. How latest should the results of tests be?

Thanks in advance.

You can get the TB-Tuberculosis Test done at any of the well know Medical Labs and have the x-ray and doctors report handy while entering UK; there is no time frame but it would be best to have the latest done..

Thanks for your response.

a. TB Skin test
b. TB Blood test
c. Chest x-ray

Is a and c good enough?
What kind of tests does the UK gov do at the port of entry?

Thanks in advance for the replies
