Depedent's funds + my funds

Post by oneITguy » Thu Apr 22, 2010 3:28 pm

Hi Guys,

I am in UK and going to file my wife's dependent Visa(she is in India). I am going to show depedent's funds from her India Bank account as 1,50,000 INR which is equivalent to more then 1600£ + for my maintenance fund(which should be £800) I am showing it from my UK Lloyds tsb salary bank account. so there would be 2 bank statement for maintenance funds(1 is for my wife + 1 for me)

Is it a correct and safe way?

Can you please confirm 1600£ is the maximum funds i need to show for 3 months for my wife in any case and £800 is also maximum for me in any case?

Guys please advice.

Maintain Funds

Post by praks.gupta » Tue Apr 27, 2010 2:59 pm

Hello All,

I have maintained funds for a period of one month in two accounts as shown below.

1. 05/Feb/2010 to 18/Mar/2010 50,000 INR equivalant 600 GBP in Indian ABN AMRO account.
2. 1000 GBP Uk ICICI account

After 18/Mar/2010 I have maintained 1600 GBP in ICICI account uk.

Should I apply for my wife Dependent stamping on 10/May/2010.

Hi ,

A better suggestion is make 1 bank statement for your maintenance fund ... As you are in UK just show a clean account from there with required balance . I have seen so many people with same cases and there dependents have to face difficulty in visa approval . What i suggest:

1) GBP 2000 in a clean account in UK for 3 months plus make all the documents as required for dependent visa

Thanks

My advice bro! better safe than sorry... If your case is straight forward, it will take less time for the case worker to process your application.

Best of Luck

all is well that ends well
