ALLOWED TO ENTER SPAIN

Post by RAGO2010 » Tue Apr 27, 2010 8:35 pm

I WAS DEPORTED TO MY NATIVE COUNTRY FROM THE USA, IN 2002.
I DO HAVE A FELONY CONVICTION IN THE USA.
I WANT TO KNOW IF I WILL BE ALLOWED TO MOVE TO SPAIN IF I GET MARRIED, MY SPOUSE TO BE IS A RESIDENT OF SPAIN.
SHE IS GOING TO BE APPLYING FOR FAMILY REGROUPING IN SPAIN FOR ME TO JOIN HER.
WILL SPAIN GRANT A PERSON PERMISSION TO ENTER EVEN THOUGH I GOT DEPORTED BY THE USA TO MY NATIVE COUNTRY, WHICH IS NOT EUROPEAN COUNTRY.
THANK YOU ALL FOR ANY HELP ON THIS ISSUE YOU MAY HAVE..
LOOKING TO JOIN MY SPOUSE ON OUR NEW LIFE TOGETHER

You will have to look into national Spanish law how you can live with your wife in Spain. I am not sure if anyone here can be of much help but I suspect there must be several Spanish speaking fora out there where you could possibly find competent information.

What was your felony conviction for?

I agree that you will have to look at Spanish law to see what applies.
