Recommendation for Immigration Solicitor (Tier 1)

Post by JamesBahn » Wed Apr 28, 2010 1:43 am

I am looking for advice on who is a good Immigration Solicitor for a Tier 1.

My case is fairly straight forward and I score 90 points. One catch is that I have a minor criminal conviction over 5 years ago. My case ended in a summons and a $100 fine. From my understanding, this would not be a bar as the case is a silly case that stemmed from a college prank.

I am a US citizen and my wife is a Ukrainian Citizen. We currently live in Costa Rica as permanent residents. Further, we have a 1 year old daughter who is a US Citizen and a Costa Rica Citizen.

Thanks in advance.

You should be fine even if you apply by yourself. Make sure to arrange all your document properly. I don't think your convinction would affect outcome of your application.

Thank you for the reply chetanojha.

In addition to our Costa Rican residency, we also hold Canadian residency. Our canadian residency was based on Federal Skilled Worker application in which wording and structure of the application was very critical.

Is specific wording not of great concern in the UK application?
