Received salary from new company for Jan-Feb-Mar2010 in cash

Post by amit.d.mi2 » Fri May 07, 2010 7:44 pm

Hi

I changed my company in Jan and received my salary for Jan-Feb-Mar 2010
in cash.
I have pay slips and have paid tax for the same.
My offer letter shows that I will get salary in cash.

So my bank account wont show salary deposited for these 3 months.

Is the company offer letter, pay slip and tax paid receipts sufficient proof in regards to these 3 months?

Thanks

The evidance has to be from 2 different sources ...

company offer letter, pay slip and tax paid receipts ( I am assuming they are TDS receipts from the employer) are issued by employer that is 1 source, you would need to have 1 more document from a different spurce. Refer to the policy guidance point 138

Hi

The tax is paid by me directly (not TDS receipts from employer).

So this receipt will be a 2nd source.

Then can I calculate it in my earnings?

Thanks

yes u can even if ur money is received in cash. m dead sure as my friend has received the T1G who was paid all his money (salaried n selfemployed) in cash but u need 2 different sources. for the second source if u can get letter form tax department that can show that u have paid ur tax on those earnings, i think this can work.
