IELTS - Which Academic or GT?

Hi,

Which IELTS test is accepted by HO for awarding points on engligh language requirement for Tier - 1 (G)?

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - General Training is fine.

People confident of their English language proficiency take the academic module, others settle for GT.

Thanks Guys esp. to Sush,

I would be going for GT. I am not confident of my english language skills as is visible in my posts. Hence opting for an easier route.

Its nothing to do with your English capabities though

. Usually, for Immigration purpose( for countries like Australia,canada & UK) GT is preferred by the Immigration department. However, if you are applying for any kind of further studies you are bound give IELTS -academic.
