Is your partner accompanying you or joining you later Doubt?

Hi All
One of my friend is filing T1 G soon, so question is in Ques. 5.1 it says
" Is your partner accompanying you or joining you later "
If yes - Provide date of travel

Scene is, that he is married and applying just for himself due to some reasons, but as soon as he gets his visa he will apply for her wife as well, so in this case should he Fill 'No'/'Yes'. if you guys suggest Yes, what travel date he should mention as his wife still has no visa :-s
and if No is to be filled, will HO make any objection when his wife applies for visa, that why you didn't mention that your spouse will join you.

Kindly suggest what is to be done in such cases ??
