Hi,

I see that DOJ asks for Birth and Marriage affidavits during processing of citizenship application.
1. Does this happen in all cases?
2. If it happens selectively - what is the reason?
3. Is social welfare report asked in all cases?

I think, you only need "affidavits" if your certificates do not have enough information. Otherwise, a certified translation (stamped and signed by a solicitor) is enough.

Yes, they will ask for a report on you from the social welfare department.

why do we need to submit social welfare report as I though that it is checked by INIS( Garda+ Social Welfare check). Am i wrong in thinking this??

You are right, they will ask for a report on you. You do not need to provide a report.
