Visa validity because of 6 months delay

Post by sunnyboy786 » Sat May 29, 2010 6:26 pm

I and my dependants were issued a student visa for Jan 2010 entry.

I did not join the course than and will start the course in Sep 2010. My and dependants visa is still valid. Can I enter UK in Sep 2010 on the visa which was actually issued for Jan 2010 entry.

unless, you have any restrictions on your visa it should be fine. Also the course must be from the same college that you initially applied to.

You should also expect some questions from immigration when you get to london so be prepared! Bring evidence, give reasons etc....

you need a valid reason to be joining your course this late... also get a letter from the university saying that they have permitted you to join the course this late..
