IELTS GENERAL READING TEST

Hi,

Really sorry if I am a bit off from the topics, I am looking for someone who recently appeared in IELTS GENERAL TEST?

I just want to know about IELTS Reading section for General test.. Is it same like academic or its different (easy/difficult?) I am getting contradicting information from internet, some sites says its same while other sites explain that its different. in General you will be given short texts like Notice board, timetable, announcements, instruction manual etc where as in Academic test there will be 3 passages on any general topics.

I have registered for IELTS GENERAL exam on 5th June, If anyone can confirm about the general reading section It will really help and I will be able to practice better.

Test is almost the same but normally if you want to go to UNI , you give academic vice versa you go for general ( for immigration etc) . The difference is in writing section ... 1) General you have to write an application while 2) in Academic .. there is a graph ... both test except this are same ............ in my opinion always go for Academic as it will cover all ..............................
