Cleared graduation in 2nd attempt

Post by SP » Fri Nov 11, 2005 7:22 am

Hi All,
I am from India I have completed my commerce graduation (15 years study) in 2nd attempt.
Can I claim 15 points under educational qualifications?
I have cleared my graduation in 2nd attempt will this make my application weak? :(

Thanks,
SP

I don't really think how many times you sat for your final exams matter. The most important thing is that you have a recognised graduate level certificate to show for your efforts.

Please other forum members should contribute their 2 cents to this.

off course it doesn't matter in how many attemps you passed BA.
But the thing is that if 15 year education of India gets 15 points???

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I just wanted to know that dose 15 years of education (Graduation degree) is eligible for claiming 15 points? , As in case of USA they recognize 16 years of education as degree

SP,

You should claim 15 points for a bachelor's degree even if you have had only 15 years of education. A lot of people from India with BComs and BScs have got their approval, including myself and I dont see that as an issue. I however cannot confirm if points were alloted for educational qualifications as approved applicants don't know where they score all their points.
