WP holder setting up a company?

Hello all,
Can a work permit holder set up a company? Or is it done only by their dependant?

Only depandant can set up.

To set up a company you need to be in Tier-1 or other status.

As said, dependents have more flexibility and they can set up their own company but WP holders can't.

Surely a WP can setup and become a Director of a company, Ltd, as can anyone, British or not. Just he cannot be an employee of this company, unless the company can somehow sponsor a WP in turn, tho that re might be a conflict of interest, and the courts may choose to 'Lift the Veil' of incorporation and prosecute the Director(s)...
