Got a new contract, got few queries..

Hi Friends,

I got a new contract starting this monday. My recruiter said that i need to register with some umbrella company and then they will gime my contract papers. She said its my wish if i wld like to pay by myself.
This is my first contract and dont know what to do. She gave me the number of one umbrella company and said i can go ahead with that and its a good one..

1) friends can i go ahead with that umbrella company or should i pay it on my own, pls help..

2) the contract is for 300 a day, so how much can i expect after taxes and is it gona be paid monthy or weekly. And is for 22 days or 30 days in a month...

3) Any thing else i need to keep in mind while on a contract job.
