TimeLine - It seems too quick to me

Post by prisat » Wed Jun 30, 2010 9:50 am

15 calender days - 11 working days

As a matter of fact, i submitted All possible evidences for the points that i claimed ( I am claiming) for each section.

Date of Submission of Application : 14th June 2010
Place of Visa Application Processing Centre : VFS, Chennai
Forwarded to BDHC on the same day

Exactly after 7 days : Application under process

Date of VISA Stamping : 29th June 2010

Date of Passport Collection : 30th June 2010

Today VFS looked like a super market ;-). I mean it was filled up with people and no place to sit.

Thank you all Folks.....

Hi,
Congrats..

I have very basic question abt submitting application by person at VFS office.

I am planning to apply on July 7th in VFS Bangalore.

I am planning submit a cover letter which explians about my attributes, and printed Self Assessment pdf, which was generated through points based calculator, and then all the supporting docs.

In which order, i have to keep all the docs? and how should i hand over to VFS staff? Will they give any special file, to keep all the docs in order? I don't think i can stapple all the docs as single bundle while submitting.

It's very simple question for you, but i just need this clarification before submitting.

Thanks,
Narayana.

LoL.... Dont worry man. Just take the documents / certificates / evidences safe till the VFS office.
They have their own procedures to handle in the documents that you submit.

As far as i was concerned, they took all the documents from me and did a very basic verification on the submitted forms / evidences / docs. Then they themselves arranged. No wonder, they arrange the documents in the same way that self assessment tool does with its points calculation.

Hope this helps. Take care.....

If i am not wrong (and as per my understanding) all applications processed post 6th April 2010 will be for 2 years - multiple entry.
