Hi,

Is it possible to move from Tier 2 to Tier 1 dependent ? I am currently in UK on a Tier 2 visa while my wife is on a Tier 1.

You can move but you need to apply from ur country of residence

Thanks for the reply guys. Based on the above, I would rather go for a Tier 1 for myself from UK itself than become a dependent. If I go for a Tier 1 for myself, can my wife switch to a Tier 1 dependent from Tier 1 ?Going forward, I dont want to maintain 2 separate visas for us .
