it's an approval!!!

Post by mama_mia » Mon Dec 05, 2005 10:00 am

I was told over the phone that my application was approved!
It is my second application. In the first one I claimed 80 points and it was rejected; the HSMP Team decided I didn’t provide enough evidence for my work experience. Now I claimed only 65 points (under 28).

I applied out of UK, sent my first application early July and it was rejected early September. I requested a review and it was unsuccessful.
After that I asked for a more detailed reference letter and job description from my employer, which included such words as “graduate level”, “full time” . (Thanks a lot to all the forumers).
My second application was sent by dhl on November 10, the decision was taken on the 15th. I am not related to the IT field.

2nd application

Post by visionx » Wed Dec 07, 2005 5:17 pm

Hi all

This was my 2nd application.

Applied within UK
app received by HO: 14/11/05
payment taken: 15/11/05
decision made: 18/11/05
received on: 23/11/05

Very quick decision, and no wonder, its refusal again. I rang them on 21/11/05, but they didn't tell me the decision on the phone because it was refusal!!
The same reason given on 1st application. Reason given "job description doesn't indicate that position you held required UK first level degree". It's a bulls***. I had my employer to write my exp letter 2nd time and it was very comprehensive in terms of duties and responsibilities. I went through the letter provided by one of the forum member and amended my letter accordingly. Even provided job adverts from both indian n UK companies for similar job position and explained why it was necessary to have uni level educaiton to do this job. But they don't give a monkey to it.

Anyways, all da best to all awaiting decision

Regards

Hi buntosanya

I amended my letter after looking into yours and made it very comprehensive. But these morons still refused my 2nd application

Visionx i just read your previous post before the last one. I don't know what work experience you have, but i guess what they regard as graduate level job differs from one profession to another. Maybe that will explain the refusal even after using my format. Of course it is not the same content and number of years of experience.

Sorry about that once again.
